Bethany Arrington (Female 2) is so pleased to be working on her first production with Theatre-Hikes. She has her BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is mentored by Steppenwolf ensemble member, Yasen Peyankov. Bethany is represented by Lily's Talent and would like to thank mom, dad, and Megan for their unwavering support. Jer. 29:11
Brian Gale (Male 2) marks his second year season with Theater-Hikes with this production. He graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in 2014. Evanston raised, Brian is happy to be back in his home turf after playing around in northeastern Ohio for a few years. Previous credits include Seminar (Douglas) and Twelfth Night (Sir Andrew Aguecheek). He would like to extend his sincere thanks to anyone and everyone that watched him have fun on stage.
Tommy Lukrich (Male 1) is excited to be back with Theatre-Hikes for another sweaty romp of comedic fun. He received his BFA from the University of Idaho and has been enjoying the Chicago theatre scene for almost two years. Tommy would like to thank his friends and family for believing in the dream.
Alex Pelletier (Female 1) is a Chicago transplant hailing from Sterling Heights, Michigan. She gained her BFA in Theatre Performance in 2014 from Western Michigan University and is excited to be making her Theatre Hikes debut. Some of her previous credits include: Proof (Claire), Communicating Doors (Ruella), Mud (Mae), Tony n' Tina's Wedding (Sal Antonucci), Eurydice (The Stones), Pippi Longstocking (Ms. Prysselius), and We Gotta Bingo (Frannie). She would like to thank everyone involved in this production for their support and talents.
Ron Popp (Director) is happy to be back with Theatre-Hikes after directing their productions of Alice in Wonderland and The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged). His directing credits also include the Chicago premiere of Dog Sees God, as well as The Heidi Chronicles, Entertaining Mr. Sloan and Epic Proportions. Also an actor, some of Ron's favorite roles include Nathan Leopold in Never the Sinner, Eric in WTC View, and James/Virgin Mary in the Regional premiere of Terrence Mcnally's Corpus Christi.
Matthew Powell (Props Master) is ecstatic to be working on another Theatre-Hikes production, as a director you may know his work from Clue, The Musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, A Walk with Mark Twain, The Wind in the Willows and The Wizard of Oz, where he built many a prop. Though, his props days with Theatre-Hikes go all the way back to 2008 where he helped make fake chinese food for Key Exchange, and in 2009 he assisted with props on Jackie, An American Life. Since 2011 he has had a hand in almost all of Theatre-Hikes productions in one way or another and he hopes you enjoy this mad-cap prop adventure. He would like to thank BSB and Otto Titsling for their support.
Charles Schultz (Stage Manager) is honored to be stage managing for Theatre-Hikes. He would like to thank the cast and the director for all the wonderful times working on this show. He would also like to thank Zeus for not smiting him.
Wesley Whitaker (Male 3) may be recognized by Theatre-Hikes audiences as a hike leader for a few previous shows, and also as an actor in Iron Mask. He studied Theatre and Broadcasting at WIU in Macomb. He is currently performing/studying improv at Second City, hosting/contributing to a couple of podcasts, and also dabbling in stand-up comedy. His biggest accomplishment in theatre and comedy to date is performing in Shanghai and Beijing for an international comedy festival.
